Dear friends,
Every year, God invites us again into the holy work of tending—tending our faith, tending one another, tending our campus and tending the ministries that make our parish a place of hope, healing and belonging. The Season of Stewardship is not simply about budgets or numbers. It is about nurturing the life God has planted among us.
This year and the next will be a time of transition and wonder here at St. Paul’s. A time for me, Norma+, to get to know you better and to envision the work that God wants us to do together. A time for listening to your different voices and continuing to learn the amazing work that Kay+ has done with you during these many years as your rector. She is leaving a legacy of inclusion, theological curiosity and understanding, and beautiful liturgical work. I have seen signs of church growth that are deeper than attendance charts can measure. I have watched new families find a spiritual home. We have seen long‑time members step into fresh ministries. We have witnessed generosity that strengthens our outreach, our worship, and our care for the vulnerable. These are the fruits of a community willing to cultivate what God has entrusted to us. But growth does not happen by accident. It happens because a community chooses to put down deep roots — roots of prayer, roots of service, roots of generosity. When our roots are deep, our branches can stretch wide. When our roots are deep, we can weather storms. When our roots are deep, we become a place where others can find shelter and belonging.
This year’s stewardship season invites each of us to consider how we will help tend the soil of our parish. Your pledge—whatever its size—nourishes the ministries that shape lives, strengthen families, and extend Christ’s love beyond our walls. Your giving allows our roots to deepen and our growth to continue.
We ask you to pray about your pledge, to reflect on the blessings God has given you, and to consider how your generosity can help our parish flourish. Together, we can cultivate a future marked by faith, hope, and abundant life.
Thank you for all the ways you already give, serve, and love. May God continue to grow something beautiful among us.

Without a written pledge, our work to prepare a budget is inaccurate and incomplete. With this information, we can plan for growth in the coming year and in the years ahead.
If you give but do not pledge, will you consider the additional step of a committed pledge? If you are accustomed to placing cash or check into the offertory plate but do not pledge, those funds (unless designated for another fund) are not counted in the budget. If you wish, donations may be directed to specific ministries such as Sunday Supper, and/or Sunday Shower's by selecting "Donation" on St. Paul's website, selecting the drop-down arrow to the right of "St. Paul's Ministry" and choosing the fund you would like to donate to.
St. Paul’s receives all its funding from parishioners, rental of our building space, the Pre-school, and fundraising activities. We receive no funding from the National Church or Diocese. We depend on the generosity of our parishioners. We have increased the use of our space this year by outside groups paying rent, and we continue to look for groups that are a good fit for using our campus. We prioritize our ministries and meetings, and share our space when it's appropriate.
